Hays Solar

This 225 MWp pv-solar facility located in Hays, Alberta, Canada is currently in development and will be both a Fortis distribution level, and AltaLink Transmission level connected generator utilizing bi-facial panels with single-axis trackers to feed energy into the provincial grid and power pool. 

The initial permitting for this project is complete and Sage Stone (Canada) a 50% partner in Sungate Energy is working with Proteus Power to co-develop, own, and operate this facility located on BRID leased lands. 

The expected in-service date is Q3 2023.
